TERMS AND CONDITIONS for scheduled excursions

1. General: The word "TOUR" refers to an itinerary with several stops, mostly on foot. walking through historic centers or visiting places of natural interest. Duration: 4 hours if indicated as half day (HD) or 7-8 hours if indicated as full day (FD).

2. Services: The service offered is “Accompanying” (by a TOUR LEADER), choosing the Base option; TOURIST GUIDE, choosing the supplement provided for guided tours. If the places included in the itinerary are distant from each other, the tour leader or guide will offer also a transport service which is intended as a courtesy service, free of charge.

3. Tour conditions: The tours will be carried out with a minimum and maximum number of people as indicated in the itinerary tab. In case of cancellation of the tour due to causes not attributable to the organizer, such as adverse weather conditions, it will be communicated as soon as possible. There is no insurance coverage during the itinerary.

4. Organization: Guide Turistiche Associate Calabria puts tourists in contact with guides and interpreters who offer their services. The Guide/Tour Leader assumes full responsibility for the services provided.

5. Payment: You can pay the full amount or only 20% as deposit, paying the remaining amount in cash on the same day of the tour. Payment methods: Bank wire transfer (offline payment) or online payment through Paypal.

a. Bank wire transfer: You can find the data for the transfer in the Payment tab. The bank transfer (deposit or full payment), must be done at least 20 hours prior to the departure time. The reservation will be pending, it will be confirmed upon receipt of the copy of the transfer (by sending the photo of the bank transfer receipt to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). After the deadline has expired without receiving any communication regarding the payment, the reservation will be canceled.

b. Online payment - Paypal: You will be directed to Paypal: you don't need a Paypal account, just enter your credit card details on the PayPal page to complete the transaction. If you pay the total amount, the reservation will be automatically confirmed; paying only 20% as deposit the reservation will be pending and will be confirmed within a few hours.

6. Cancellation: a. Cancellation of the tour due to causes not attributable to the organizer: The amount paid will be refunded entirely. b. Cancellation by the participant: the participant can cancel the booking by contacting GTAC: 20% of the total will be charged, the rest of the amount, if already paid, will be refunded as a voucher useful to attend the event on the next available date or another event of the same organizer.

7.Extras: Extras include additional and optional costs not related to the guiding or accompanying service, such as museums tickets, exhibitions, archaeological parks, etc., food and wine tastings or meals.
